2023 Legislature
MTCIL and the Montana Legislature
Three of Montana’s Centers for Independent Living, AbilityMT, NCILS , and Summit, conduct legislative advocacy in order to influence policy decisions to improve programs, services, and quality of life for all individuals with disabilities and their families. Our legislative advocacy efforts are aimed at protecting the civil rights of individuals with disabilities and ensuring that programs, services, and policies work to preserve their right to choose, to live, and to fully and equally participate in society on an equal basis as our non-disabled peers.
